Parenting With Mental Illness

I have a new article published with Her View From Home about what it’s like to be a parent who has mental illness.

“When I was a young mom with two kids I felt completely overwhelmed all the time. Not the normal exhausted and frazzled kind of overwhelmed, but the bawling my eyes out in the middle of the night, kind of overwhelmed. Once, I was even babysitting another kid who was sobbing because he missed his mom and I was sobbing too because I just couldn’t handle life.”

You can read the rest over at Her View From Home. I’d love for you to go check it out. And if you know any parents who also struggle with mental illness, share it with them too!
